1-11 RESOLUTION NO. 5781
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING.A CONTRACT FOR THE WATER
3 MAIN CONSTRUCTION IN BALBOA BOULEVARD, LAFAYETTE
AVENUE, AND WEST COAST HIGHWAY

5 WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
6 consisting of the water main construction in Balboa Boulevard,
7 Lafayette Avenue, and West Coast Highway, in the City of Newport
8 Beach, in accordance with the plans and specifications heretofore
9 adopted, bids were received on the 8th day of Nay, 1963, and
10 publicly opened and declared; and
11 WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
12 therefor is Royal Pipeline Construction Company, Ina
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Royal
14 Pipeline Construction Company, Inc. in the amount of $91, 672. 85
15 be accepted and that the contract for the construction work be
16 awarded to said bidder.
17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
18 hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
19 with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
20 of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
21 an executed copy to the successful bidder.
