111 RESOLUTION NO. 5783
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
3 AGREEMENT EXTENDING THE TERM OF THE AGREEMENT
WITH ORANGE COUNTY TO PERFORM SOIL TESTS

5 WHEREAS, the City of Newport Beach has an agreement with
6 the County of Orange to conduct soil tests to determine pavement
711 design; and
8 WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared which, if exe-
9 cuted by the County and City, would extend the term of the current
10 agreement through June 30, 1964; and
11 WHEREAS, said agreement to conduct soil tests has been
12 in effect and has proved to be satisfactory to both parties;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the agreement extend -
14 ing the terms of the present agreement to June 30, 1964, be approved
15 and the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and
16 directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
