2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING BUDGET PROPOSAL FOR
3 EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS ALLOCATED UNDER SECTION
2167.5.QF THE. STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE

5 WHEREAS, a master agreement has been executed between the
6 State of California and the City of Newport Beach for the expendi-
7 ture of the engineering allocation to cities; and
8 WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City a budget
9 proposal for the estimated expenditure of engineering funds during
10 the 1963 -64 fiscal year, and
11 WHEREAS, the City Council has heard read said proposal in
12 full and is familiar with the contents thereof;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
14 City of Newport Beach that said budget proposal be and is hereby
15 adopted as the budget of proposed expenditures of the engineering
16 allocation to cities, and said budget proposal be and the same is
17 hereby approved and the Public Works Director is directed to sign
18 the same on behalf of said City, said budget proposal to be binding
19 upon the City upon its approval by the authorized officials of the
20 State.
