511 TIMMS, L. A. Becker, the owner of Lot 35 of Tract 444
61 in the City of Newport 2 -each, has constructed at his aeon expense
7 a six-inch water main extension in La Jolla Drive at a total cost
8 of 5583; and
9 pursuant to the provisions of Sections 7601
10 and 7602 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code, said comer has
11 requested reimbursement from the City of the sum of w291.50 as a
12 connection charge for water service to Lot 34 of said Tract 444
13 which the Ftib'_ic F�Torks Director has determined will be equally
14 benefited by said water main extension, if such connection c2mrge
15 is collected by City within ten years of the date said water rain
16 extension is accepted by it; and
17 r�j:,:M ZMG , there has been presented to the City Council a
18 contract between the City and L. A. 8ec':er under which the City
19 agrees to require payment of such connectio-i cuzarge and make
20 reimbursement to Becker as provided in said Sections 7601 and 76029
21 and
22 GT'irmufiS, the City Council has reviewed said contract and
23 found the same to be fair and equitable and in accordance with
24 said provisions of the Code;
25 M72 Tb o -Z ORZZ BE IT RESOLVED that the Hayor and City
26 Cleric be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
27 contract on behalf of the City of Newport Heath.
