RESOLUTION NO. 6124

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING.CERTAIN_NO.PARKING

AREAS DURING.EASTER_WEEK

T*MREAS, Section 3272 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code
6
provides that the City Council may by resolution establish no
7
parking areas and, when appropriate signs or markings are in place,
8
no person shall stop, stand, or park a vehicle in the no parking
9
area so established; and
10
WHEREAS, certain areas hereinafter described are areas
11
where parking should be prohibited from April 13, 1965, to April 19,
12
1965, in order to facilitate the flow of traffic and eliminate
13
traffic hazards;
14
NOV73 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following- describe
15
areas are hereby designated as no parking areas from April 13, 19653
16
to 12 o'clock noon on April 19, 1965, at the times indicated:

At all times:

Bayside Drive, both sides, between Marine Avenue
and E1 Paseo Drive,

Jamboree Road, both sides, between Coast Highway
and Back Bay Drive,

Balboa Boulevard, south side, between Washington
22
Street and first driveway westerly,
23
Marine Avenue, west side, from Park Avenue north-
erly two parking spaces.
24
Marine Avenue, east side, from Balboa Avenue south-
25
erly two parking spaces.
26
Marine Avenue, east side, from North Bay Front
southerly two parking spaces.
27
Between the hours of 2 P. M. and 2 A. M.:

Balboa Boulevard, north side, between 15th Street
and 21st Street,
29
Newport Boulevard, east side, between 21st Street
30
and 22nd Street.

Newport Boulevard, west side, between 26th Street
and 28th-Street.

1 Between the hours of 9 P. M. and 6 A. M.:
2 Marine Avenue, both sides, entire length, except
the above - described areas where parking is pro -
3 hibited at all times.
4 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the city traffic engineer is
5 authorized and directed to appropriately sign or mark said areas to
6 indicate parking is prohibited.
7 ADOPTED this 12th day of April, 1965.
