6 UKEI?UAS, by Resolution No. 5982 adopted ,Tune 22, 1964,
7 the City Council authorized execution of a Contract to Sell and Buy
8 land with Anthony Pools, Inc., under the terms of which certain
9 Citymotmed real property was to be sold to said company; and
10 71ERZAS, certain title problems have arisen subsequent
11 to the execution of said contract which have prevented the City
12 from conveying title to said property to the buyer; and
13 jTF� S, the City and Anthony Pools, Inc., desire to
14 resolve the title problems and consummate the sale, to do which
15 it will be necessary for them to rescind the previous contract and
16 enter into a new contract, cancel the existing lease on the property
17 being sold dated ,dune 17, 1955, between the City and South Coast.
18 Company, which the lessee subsequently assigned to Anthony Pools,
19 Inc., and enter into a new lease which will permit the buyer to
20 occupy and use said property on an interim basis until such time
21 as a final determination can be made as to whether the sale of the
22 property can be completed; and

24 and presented to the City Council a Contract to Buy and Sell sand,
25 Cancellation of Lease, and Lease of City -owned Peal Property,
26 which the City Council has reviewed and found to be fair and
27 equitable;
