RESOLUTION NO. 6135
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NMIPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR BACK BAY
DRIVE ST MET REPAIRS AND RESURFACING
MAZREAS, pursuant to the Notice inviting Bids for work
6 consisting of Back Bay Drive street repairs and resurfacing in the
7 City of Newport Beach, in accordance with the plans and specifica-
8 Lions heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 20th day of
9 April, 1965, and publicly opened and declared; and
10 WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
11 therefor is the Griffith Company;
12 NOW, T1EPZF0RE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of the Griffi
13 Company in the amount of $16,148.70 be accepted and that the contra
14 for the construction work be awarded to said bidder.
15 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
16I1hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
17 with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
18 of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
19 an executed copy to the successful bidder.
