2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
31 NEWPORT BEACH (ACCEPTING A GUNT.OF EASEMENT

4 iT-IEREAS, The RECTOR, i7ARDENS AND VESTRYMEN OF ST. JAMES
5 PARISH in NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA, a corporation, has executed
6 and delivered to the City of Newport Beach a Grant of Easement by
7 which it grants to the City an easement for street and highway pur-
8 poses over all that certain land situated in the City of Newport
9 Beach, County of Orange, State of California,-described as follows:
10 PARCEL 1
11 A strip of land, 80.00 feet in width, in block 96 of
Irvine s Subdivision as per map recorded in book 1,
12 page 88 of Miscellaneous Record Maps in the office of
13 the county recorder of said county, the centerline of
which is described as follows:
14 Beginning at the intersection of the northeasterly
15 prolongation of the centerline of Marguerite Avenue,
formerly known as Pier Avenue,' 70 feet wide, as
16 shown on a map of Corona del Mar recorded in book 3,
pages 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps with the north -
17 easterly line of said Corona del Mar, said northeasterly
line being also the southwesterly line of said block 96;
18 thence North 39° 45t'4011 East 243.48 feet along said
northeasterly prolongation to a point on the north -
19 easterly line of that certain land described in a
deed to the Rector, Wardens and Vestrymen of St, games
20 Parish in Newport Beach, California, recorded Nay 5,
1959 in book 4698,-page 478 of Official Records, said
21 northeasterly line being a curve concave northeasterly
having a radius of 4905.00 feet, an angle of 8° 10'
22 30" and a length of 699.85 feet, a radial line of
said curve to said point bears South 310 17' 30" west.
23 The sidelines of said 80.00 foot strip of land
24 to be shortened or extended to terminate on said
northeasterly line of the St. James Parish land.

26 That portion of block 96 of Irvine's Subdivision as
27 per map recorded in book 1, page 88 of Miscellaneous
Record Naps in the office of the county recorder of
28 said county described as follows:
29 The spandrel area bounded on the southeast by the
northwesterly right of way line of hereinabove 'des-
30 cribed Parcel I, on the southwest by a line parallel
with and distant northeasterly 35.00 feet, measured
31 at right angles, from the northeasterly line of Corona
del Mar as per map recorded in book 3, pages 41 and 42
32 of Miscellaneous Maps and on the north by a 25.00 foot
radius curve concave northerly tangent to said north-
westerly right of way line and said parallel line.

as per map recorded in book 1, page 88 of miscel-

corder of said county described as follows;

The spandrel area bounded on the northwest by the

southeasterly right of way line of hereinabove des-
cribed Parcel g, on the southwest by a line parallel

with and distant northeasterly 35.00 feet, measured
at right angles, from the northeasterly line of Corona
7
del Har as per map recorded in boors 3, pages 41 and 42
of Kiscellaneous Vaps and on the east by a 25.00 foot
8
radius curve concave easterly tangent to said south-
easterly right of way line and said parallel line,

SUBJECT TO easements, rights of way and other matters of
10
record or apparent;

kTHERZAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
13
said Grant of Easement for such purposes;

N(Xa TH IEFC -r BE IT RESOLVED that said Grant of Easement
15
is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to
16
execute and attach thereto a certificate of acceptance and consent
17
to its recording and to record said document in the County pecord-
18
er's office.

Resolution No. 6140 was duly and regularly
adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council held at the
regular meeting place thereof, on the 26th day of April
