NETSPORiT BEACH 201301.IBITING PARKING ON PORTIONS OF

5 C7 PIRAS, Sections 3272 and 3292.1 of the Newport Beach
6 Llunicipal Code provide that the City Council may by resolution
7 establish no parking areas, designate streets or portions of
8 streets on which vehicle parking is to be prohibited, and designate
9 the days of the creek and the exact hours during which such prohibi-
10 tion shall be in effect, and, when appropriate signs or markings
11 are in place, no person shall stop, stand, or park a vehicle con -
12 trary to the directions and provisions of such signs; and
13 M= CAS, it is necessary to prohibit parking as hereinm
14 after provided in order to facilitate the flow of traffic and
15 eliminate traffic hazards;
16 NOb3, THZMIZFOIRE, BE IT MESOLVED that parking shall be
17 prohibited all day on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays on the most
18 northerly side of Balboa Boulevard adjacent to the northerly curb
19 of the westbound lanes of travel from 15th Street to 22nd Street.
