6 N?1,.f'. AS, there has been presented to the City Council of
7 the City of Newport Beach a certain agreement between the County of
8 Orange and the City of Newport Beach under which the City agrees to
9 pay to the County the sum of $38,600, which represents the Cityts
10 contribution tmiards the cost of Phase 3 of the beach erosion
11 control project involving the replenishment of approximately three
12 million cubic yards of sand on the beaches in the vicinity of Surf -
13 side and Sunset Beach; and
14 ITMERMI5, the City Council has considered the terms and
15 conditions of said agreement and found them to be reasonable and
16 equitable;
17 NOi =3, THEREWORE, 32 IT MSOL ED that said agreement be
18 approved and the mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
19 directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
