1 RESOLUTION NO. 6152
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH LIMITING THE PARKING OF. VEHICLES
3 ON CERTAIN STREETS.,

5 WHEREAS, Section 3289 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code
6 provides that when authorized signs are in place giving notice
7 thereof, no person shall stop, stand, or park any vehicle between
8 the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. of any day for a period of
9 time longer than two (2) hours upon such streets or portions
10 thereof as the City Council shall designate by resolution, and
11 when special parking or traffic conditions require different hours
12 or days of parking restrictions, the City Council may by resolution
13 vary the hours and days during which the foregoing restrictions
14 shall be in effect; and
15 WHEREAS, it is necessary to limit the parking of vehicles
16 as hereinafter provided;
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the parking of vehicle
18 between the hours of 7:00 a.m, and 6 :00
p.m. be limited to two (2)
19 hours Mondays through Fridays on the following streets or portions
20 thereof:
21 1. The east and west sides of St. Andrews Road
22 from 15th Street to Haven Place.
23 2. The south side of 15th Street from St. Andrews
Road to Clay Street.
24 3. The west side of Irvine Avenue from 15th Street
25
to 16th Street.
26 4. The north and south sides of Laurel Place from
Irvine Avenue to end,
27 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is authorized
28 and directed to cause signs to be posted on such streets giving
29 notice of such parking restriction.
