NHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Counci.l of
the City of Newport Beach a proposed Agreement for Collection of
Sexier Connection Charges between the City of Newport Beach and
County Sanitation District No. 5 of Orange County whereby the City
agrees to act as the agent of said District for the purpose o:`_
issuing permits to connect to the sewerage facilities of the
District, determining the sewer connection charges, and collecting
said charges established by Ordinance No. 502 of said District; and
4n?HERt°^.LS, the City Council has considered the terms and
conditions of said agreement and determined that it would be to the
mutual advantage of the parties and in the public interest for the
City to enter into the same;
NOW, TIEREFOR , BE IT RESOLVED that said Agreement for
CoU -ction of Sewer Connection Charges be approved and the Mayor
City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the see
on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
