NS?PORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF.A
3 CONMI ACT WITH THE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

.� 5 WHEREAS , a written contract has been prepared entitled
6 "AG 'VENT ;#1820 ", in which the City of Newport Beach and the State
7 of California are parties, providing for the installation of a
8 traffic control signal system and highway lighting at the inter -
9 section of Campus Drive with State Highway route 07- Ora -73 4.9
10 01acArthur Boulevard); and
11 TREREAS, the contract provides that the City and State
12 would share the cost of said signal system and highway lighting
13 installation as set forth therein; and
14 WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the terms of
15 said contract and determined it to be in the interests of the City
16 and the improvements to be necessary;
17 N(XY, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
18 hereby approves said contract and the Mayor and City Clerk are
19 hereby authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of
20 the City of Newport Beach.
