2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COU14CIL Or THE CITY OF
NM?PORT BEACH ANARDING A CONTRACT FOR TIM BRIDGE
3 PILING REPAIR AT MARINE AVENUE AND PARR AVENUE
BRIDGES (REVISED CONTRACT)

5 171- MlEAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
6 consisting of the bridge piling repair at Marine Avenue and Park
7 Avenue Bridges (P,evised Contract), in the City of Newport Beach, in
8 accordance with the plans and specifications heretofore adopted,
9 bids were received on the 23rd day of June, 1965, and publicly
10 opened and declared; and
11 W9EREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
12 therefor is R. N. Skamnes & John A. Artukovich Sons, Inc.;
13 NOWT, TeLREF'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of R. X.
14 Skamnes & Joom A. Artukovich Sons, Inc., in the amount of $36,700
15 be accepted and that the contract for the construction work be
16 awarded to said bidder.
17 BE IT FURTIHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
18 hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
19 with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
20 of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
21 an executed copy to the successful bidder.
22 ADOPTED this 28th day of June, 1965.
