2 A RESOLUTION Oi TaZ CITY COUNCIL OF TZZ CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACK ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR THE 1965-
3 1966 FISCAL Fl. `ffil

5 WELREAS, the City Manager of the City of Newport Beach has
6 prepared and submitted to the City Council a preliminary annual
7 budget for the fiscal year 1965 -1966; and
8 VEEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said preliminary
9 budget, determined the time for the holding of a public Learing
10 thereon, and caused a notice of said :searing to be published not
11 less than ten days prior thereto in the official newspaper of the
12 City, and copies of the proposed budget were made available for
13 inspection by the public in the office of the City Cleric at least
14 ten days prior to said hearing; and
15 Vr yr^ S, the City Council has held a public hearing on
16 said preliminary budget on ,dune 28, 1965, and has made such revision
17 in the preliminary budget as it deemed advisable, and
18 VIEREAS, all requirements of the City Charter relating to
19 the preparation and consideration of the annual budget have been
20 complied with;
21 NOW; i ZREFOi2, BE IT RESOLVED that the budget of the City
22 of Newport Beach for the fiscal year 1965 ®1966 as revised by the
23 City Council is hereby adopted. The total approved appropriation of
24 $6,610,285 has been allocated to the following funds in the amounts
25 hereinafter shown: Capital total

11 BE IT F[TRTIMai RESOLVED that a copy of said approved
21 budget, certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed with the person,
3 retained by the City Council to perform, auditing functions for the
4 Council and a further copy shall be placed, and shall remain on
5 file, in the office of the City Clerk where it shall be available
6 for public inspection.
7 DE IT FURTMR RESOLVED that the budget so certified shall
8 be reproduced and copies shade available for the use of the public
9 and of departments, offices and agencies of the City.
