RESOLUTION N0. 6210
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING AND SUBMITTING A BUDGET
FOR EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS ALLOCATED FROM THE
STATE HIGHWAY FUND TO CITIES
WHEREAS, a Master Agreement for the Budgeting and Expendi -I
tune of funds Allocated from the State Highway Fund to Cities has
been entered into by the City of Newport Beach, hereinafter referr
to as the city, and the State Department of Public Works, Division
of Highways, hereinafter referred to as the department; and,
WHEREAS, the city council has prepared a budget proposal
showing estimated expenditures of such funds recommended to be made
during the 1965 -66 fiscal year; and,
WHEREAS, the city council has heard read said budget
proposal and is familiar with the contents thereof;
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the city council of the City
of Newport Beach that said budget proposal dated August 11, 1965,
be and is hereby adopted as the budget of proposed expenditures of
the gas tax allocation to cities, said budget proposal be and the
same is hereby approved and the Public Works Director is directed to
sign the same on behalf of said City, and said budget proposal to
be submitted to the Department of Public Works, State of California,
in accordance with the provisions of Section 197 of the Streets and
Highways Code,
APPROVED AND SUBMITTED this 23rd day of August, 1965.

adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council held at the
regular meeting place thereof, on the 23d day of August
1965 , by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Parsons, Elder, Gruber, For
and Stoddard
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: Marshall and Cook
