2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIM CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT OF EASEMENT

WHEREAS, The Irvine Company, a West Virginia Corporation,

has executed and delivered to the City of Newport Beach a Grant of
6
Easement by which it grants to the City an easement for the construc-
7
tion, operation, maintenance and repair of a sanitary sewer and
8
appurtenances in, under, over and along that certain real property
9
situated in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
10
California, described as follows:

A strip of land 15.00 feet in width, in Block 56 of Irvine's
Subdivision as per map recorded in book 1, page 88 of mis-
12
cellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said
county, the centerline of which is described as follows:

Beginning at a point on the southerly line of Lot 3, Tract
14
No. 5425 as per map recorded in book 199, pages 1 and 2 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said county, distant North
15
730 36' 00" East 11.57 feet from the southwesterly corner of
said lot .thence South 29° 50' 38" East 41.00 feet; thence
16
South 82a 43' 13" East 97.50 feet. -

The sidelines of said 15.00 foot strip of land shall terminate
northwesterly on said southerly line of said Lot 3.

SUBJECT TO any and all existing easements and rights of way of
19
record or apparent„

RESERVING UNTO GRANTOR, its successors and assigns, the right
to use said land for any purpose whatsoever as sk+.all not
21
interfere with or endanger the use by the Grantee of said
easement, including but not limited to the right to construct,
22
relocate, repair, maintain and use streets, alleys, roadways
23
and pipelines on, in, over, across and along said land;

25 WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept said
26 Grant of Easement for such purposes;
27 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Grant of Easement
28 is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is authorized and directed
29 to execute and attach thereto a certificate of acceptance and con -
30 sent to its xgcnrding and to record said document in the County
31 Recorder's office.
