RESOLUTION NO. 6216
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT OF EASEMENT
WHEREAS, The Irvine Company, a West Virginia corporation,
has executed and delivered to the City of Newport Beach a Grant of
Easement by which it grants to the City the following described
easements over land located in the City of Newport Beach, County
of Orange, State of California, to wit:
PARCEL 1
An easement for the reconstruction, maintenance and repair
of a sanitary sewer and storm drain and appurtenances in,
under and along a strip of land 20 feet in width in Block 56
of Irvine's Subdivision as per map recorded in book 1, page
88 of Miscellaneous Record Maps in the office of the County
Recorder of said county, the centerline of which is described
as follows:
Beginning at the most westerly corner of Lot 9, Tract
No. 5425 as per.map recorded in book 199, pages 1 and 2 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said county, said corner being
on the southwesterly line of said tract; thence South 53° 25'
08" West 36.69 feet along the southwesterly prolongation of
the northwesterly line of said Lot 9.
The sidelines of said 20.00 foot strip of land shall ter-
minate northeasterly on the southwesterly line of said
Tract No. 5425.
PARCEL 2
An easement for the reconstruction, maintenance and repair of
a sanitary sewer and appurtenances in, under and along a strip
of land 15 feet in width in Block 56 of Irvine's Subdivision
as per map recorded in book 1, page 88 of Miscellaneous Record
Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said county, the
centerline of which is described as follows:
Beginning at the most westerly corner of Lot 9, Tract No.
5425 as per map recorded in book 199, pages 1 and 2 of Miscel-
laneous Maps, records of said county, said corner bein§ on
the southwesterly line of said tract; thence South 53 25'
08" West 29.00 feet along the southwesterly prolongation of
the northwesterly line of said Lot 9; thence South 35° 26' 58"
East 10.00 feet to the true point of beginning; thence con- -
tinuinF South 35° 26' 58" East 114.75 feet- thence South 20°
49' O1' East 100.28 feet; thence South 41� 32' 32" East
104.26 feet; thence South 6° 35' 07" East 105.46 feet; thence
South 27° 23' 48" East 300.24 feet• thence South 23° 57' 37"
East 300.06 feet; thence South 23a 16' 24" East 494.70 feet,
more or less, to a point on the northeasterly line of that
certain Big Canyon Pumping Station as described in an agree-
ment dated February 11, 1959, by and between County Sanitation
District No. 5 of Orange County, California, and The Irvine
Company, said point bears North 630 35' 25" West 69.52 feet
from the most easterly corner of said pumping station.

The sidelines-of said 15.00 foot strip of land shall ter
minate southeasterly on the northeasterly line of said pump-
ing station and northwesterly on the southeasterly line of
above described Parcel 1.
SUBJECT TO any and all existing easements and rights of way
of record or of which Grantee has actual notice along, over,
and across or under said land.
RESERVING UNTO GRANTOR, its successors and assigns, the
right to use said land for any purpose whatsoever as shall
not interfere with or endanger the use by the Grantee of
said easement, including but not limited to the right to
construct, relocate, repair, maintain and use streets,
alleys, roadways and pipelines on, in, over, across and
along said land;
WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
said Grant of Easement for such purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Grant of Ease-
ment is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is authorized and
directed to execute and attach thereto a certificate of acceptance
and consent to its recording and to record said document in the
County Recorder's office,
ADOPTED this 13th day of Septe 1965.

City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office, the foregoing
Resolution No. 6216 was duly and regularly
adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council held at the
regular meeting place thereof, on the 13th day of September
19 65 , by the following vote, to wit:
