A. RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
VW. --PORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE,
REMODELING OF OFFICE SPACE IN THE CITY BALL
(CONTRACT NO. 987)
G7HEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
consisting of the remodeling of office space in the City Hall in
the City of Newport Beach, in accordance with the plans and specifi-
cations heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 22nd day of
September, 1965, and publicly opened and declared; and
t? 21171AS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is Hughes and Vandervort;
NMI, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Hughes and
Vandervort in the amount of $9,990 be accepted and that the contract'
for the construction work be awarded to said bidder.
BE IT FURTHMI RESOLVED that the Kayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accordance
with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the City
of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to furnish
an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 27th day of September, 1965.
