1 RESOLUTION NO. 6248
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 NEWPORT BEACH. DESIGNATING A THROUGH STREET
4� WHEREAS, Section 3251 of the Newport Beach Municipal Code
511provides that whenever an ordinance or resolution designates a
6 street or portion thereof as a through street the city traffic
7 engineer shall erect stop signs on each and every street intersect
8 such through street or portion thereof so designated and every dri
9 of a vehicle shall stop at such through street; and
10 WHEREAS, the following described street should be desig-
11 nated as a through street where vehicles are required to stop;
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
13 City of Newport Beach that Irvine Avenue from Cliff Drive to Santa
14 Isabel Avenue is hereby designated as a through street.
