A RESOLUTION OF TI-Z, CITY COUNCIL OF TE-EE CITY
OF NE°6?FPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOP. THE
ADDITION TO AND ALTERATIONS OF FIRE DEPARTMENT
HEADgUARTERS (CONTRACT NO. 1005)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
consisting of the addition to and alterations of Fire Department
Headquarters in the City of Newport Beach, in accordance with
the plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids were
received on the 8th day of December, 1965,and publicly opened and
declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is Hughes and Vandervort;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Hughes
k5 T40,
and Vandervort in the amount of be accepted and that
the contract for the construction work be awarded to said bidder.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
