RESOLUTION NO. "UU
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCI, OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF THE CORONA DEL MAR STATE AND
CITY BEACH PARK DRESSING AND TOILET FACILITIES
(CONTRACT NO. 944, REVISED)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Notice Inviting Bids for work
consisting of the construction of the Corona del Mar State and
City Beach Park dressing and toilet facilities in the City of
Newport Beach, in accordance with the plans and specifications
heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 8th day of December,
1965 and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is David Young, Builder, Inc.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of David
Young, Builder, Inc., in the amount of $43,350.00 be accepted
and that the contract for the construction work be awarded to
said bidder.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specificatiors, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
