RESOLUTION NO. 6280
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING OFF- STREET PARKING
STANDARDS
WHEREAS, Section 9105.51 of the Newport Beach Municipal
Code provides that the City Council may by resolution adopt
off- street parking standards to supplement the requirements
established in said section for off-street parking lots and park -
ing areas; and '
WHEREAS, a set of off - street parking standards was
adopted by the City Council on April 8, 1963; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be desirable to adopt an amend-
ment to said standards for the guidance of persons developing
off-street parking facilities and desiring to use the commonly
known herringbone design;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said off - street
parking standards, as adopted on April 8, 1963, are hereby amended
by the addition of the following off-street parking standards
entitled "Parking Lot Standards, Typical Herringbone Layout, "ccon -
sisting of one page, a copy of which is marked Exhibit 'W', is
attached hereto, and by this reference is incorporated herein and
made a part hereof,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies o£,these standards.be
kept in the City Clerk's office for inspection by the public and
additional copies shall be made available to the public in the
Planning Department and the Building Department.
