T,,TW L'.uAS, a written contract has been prepared entitled
"AG-0222113NT A'43111, in which the City of Newport Beach and the
State of California are parties, providing for the installation
of a traffic control signal system and highway lighting at the
intersection of Ford Road with State Highway Route 07- Cra -73 2.0
(MacArthur ,Boulevard); and
uM EAS, the contract provides that the City and State
would share the cost of said signal system and highway lighting
installation as set forth therein; and
& <LMS, the City Council has reviewedthe terms of
said contract and determined it to be in the interests of the
City and the improvements to be necessary;
NO479 TiSR3FOR <, BE IT IMOLVED that the City Council
hereby approves said contract and the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of
the City of Newport Beach.
