RESOLUTION NO. 6304
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING A GRANT OF EASEMENT
WHEREAS, The Irvine Company, a West Virginia torpor-
. ation, has executed and delivered to the City of Newport Beach a
Grant of Easement for street and highway purposes over all that
certain land situated in the City of Newport Beach, County of
Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Parcel 1
That portion of Block 51 of Irvine's Subdivision, as per
map recorded in Book 1, Page 88 of Miscellaneous Record Maps
in the office of the County Recorder of said County described
as follows:
Beginning at the southerly corner of the northwesterly 1/2
of the southeasterly 1/2 of Block 50 of said Irvine "s Sub-
division as said corner is shown on a map attached to a
deed to said County of Orange, recorded in Book 1055, Page
115, Official Records of said County; thence N 50° 16' 10"
W 66.00 feet along the southwesterly line of said Block 50
to the northwesterly line of Jamboree Road, 132.00 feet in
width as described in the deed to the City of Newport Beach,
recorded in Book 6135, Page 155 of Official Records; thence
S 39° 43' 50" W 30.00 feet along said northwesterly line to
a point on the southwesterly line of Palisades Road, 80.00
feet in width, as said southwesterly line is described in
the deed to the County of Orange, recorded in Deed Book 294,
Page 271 of Official Records, said point being the true point
of beginning; thence N 500 16' 10" W 25.00-feet along said
southwesterly line of Palisades Road to a point of cusp of a
tangent curve concave - westerly having a radius of 25.00 feet;
thence southerly 39.27 feet along said curve thru an angle of
90° 00' 00" to the point of tangency with said northwesterly
line of Jamboree Road; thence N 39° 43' 50" E 25.00 feet along
said northwesterly line to the true point of beginning.
Parcel 2
That portion of Block 51 of Irvine's Subdivision as per map
recorded in Book 1, Page 88 of Miscellaneous Record Maps in
the office of the County Recorder of said County described as
follows:
Beginning at the southerly corner of the northwesterly one half
of the southeasterly one half of Block 50 of said Irvine's Sub-
division as said corner is shown on a map attached to a deed to
said County of Orange, recorded in Book 1055, Page 115, Of-
ficial Records of said County; thence S 50° 16' 10" E 66.00
feet along the southwesterly line of said Block 50 to the
southeasterly line of Jamboree Road, 132.00 feet in width as
• described in the deed to the City of Newport Beach, recorded
in Book 6135, Page 155 of Official Records; thence 5 -390 43'
50" W 30.00 feet along said southeasterly line to a point on
the southwesterly line of Palisades Road, 80.00 feet in width
as described in the deed to said County of Orange, recorded in
Book 1677, Page 98 of Official Records, said point being the
true point of beginning; thence S 50° 16' 10" E 25.00 feet
along said southwesterly line of Palisades Road to the point

of 25.00 feet; thence westerly 39.27 feet along said curve
thru an angle of 90° 00' 00f1 to the point of tangency with
said southeasterly line of Jamboree Road; thence N 39° 431•
5011 E 25.00 feet along said southeasterly line to the true
point of beginning.
SUBJECT TO easements and rights of way of record or
• apparent;
and
WHEREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept said
Grant of Easement for such purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Grant of Easement
is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to
execute and attach thereto a certificate of acceptance and con-
sent to its recording and to record said document in the County
Recorder's office.

adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council held at the
regular meeting place thereof, on the 28th day of February ,
