has presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach a

certain map of the City of Newport Beach Public I-orks Department

designated Drawing No. P /TJ- 5091 -L, dated 2- 28 -66, showing a por-
9
tion of a certain alley in Block 632, Corona del Mar Tract, in
10
the City of Newport Beach which the City is considering vacating,
11
closing up and abandoning, and which portion is more particularly
12
described as follows:
13 That portion of the 14 foot alley adjoining Block D or
Tract 323 pea map recorded in Book 14, pages 40 and 41 of
14 Hiscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of
Orange County, California, together with that portion of
15 Lot 14 in Block 632 of the Corona del Isar Tract per map
recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of said k'iscellaeous
16 Maps, described as a whole as follows;

Beginning at the intersection of the southeasterly line of
Dahlia Avenue (formerly 31st Avenue) as shofm on the map of
18
said Corona del "Mar Tract with the northeasterly line of
said 14 foot alley; thence S. 390 38' G; 14.00 feet along
19
said southeasterly line to the southwesterly line of said
alley; thence along said southwesterly line S. 500 221 L.

56.41 feet to she westerly line of the land described in
Parcel 1 in the deed to the City of Newport Beach recorded
21
in Book 1360, page 23 of Official Records in the office of
said County Recorder; thence S. 170 30' 5691 E. 40.55 Zfeet

along said e,,jesterly line to a line parallel e7ith and south-
westerly 36.00 feet from the northeasterly line of said 14

foot alley; thence S. 500 22' E. 25.80 feet along said
parallel line to a line parallel with and easterly 14.00

parallel line being tie easterly line of the land described

last said parallel line to a point on said northeasterly
