RESOLUTION NO. 6329
A RZSO.UTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
A =M,!ZWvT WITH TIM COUNTY OF ORANGE
TM- 1EREAS, there has been presented to the City Council
an agreement between the City of Newport Beach and the County of
Orange providing for the construction of roadway improvements on
Palisades Road between Newport Boulevard and MacArthur Boulevard,
including a new traffic signal at Palisades Load and Jamboree
Load (referred to in the agreement as ,jamboree Boulevard) and
relocation of the existing traffic signal at Palisades Road and
MacArthur Boulevard; and
U X , the agreement provides that the City and County
each would perform certain services in connection with said
improvements and would share the cost thereof as more specifically
set forth in the agreement; and
W1,;° S, the City Council has reviewed the terms of the
agreement and determined it to be in the interests of the City and
the improvements to be necessary;
N%Y� T1-13REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said agreement is
approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed
to execute the same on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
ADOPTED this 11th day of April , 1966.

adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council held at the
regular meeting place thereof, on the 11th day of April
1966 by the following vote, to wit:
