4 ROAD (CONTRACT -NO. 1019).
5 t;€MEAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
6 consisting of the construction of the 18" water transmission main
7 in Jamboree road. from Eastbluff Road to Palisades Road in the
8 City of Newport Beach, in accordance with the plans and specifi-
9 cations heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 6th day of
10 April, 1966, and publicly opened and declared; and
11 TrarlEhZAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
12 therefore is Cabildo Corporation;
13 NOW TD EFORE, BE IT MSOLVED that-the bid of Cabildo
14 Corporation in the amount of $65,600 be accepted and chat the
15 contract for the construction work be awarded to said bidder.
16 BE IT FU'RT R= RESOLVED that the Mayor. and City Clerk
17 are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
18 accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
19 of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
20 to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
21 ADOPTED this 11th day of ADril 1966.
