2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEW'?ORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTACT FOR THE SWER
3 14IA1N CONSTRUCTION AND REPAIRS IN 17TH STREET,
19TH STREET AND VIA_LIDO SOLID (CON^xR&CT NO. 1025)

5 T-J:3EREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
6 consisting of the sewer main construction and repairs in 17th
7 Street, 19th street and Via Lido Soud in the City of Newport
8 Beach, in accordance with the plans and specfications heretofore
9 adopted, bids were received on the 6th day of April, 1966, and
10 publicly opened and declared; and
11 WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
12 therefor is R. X. Vukanovich Construction Co.;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of R. K.
14 Vukanovich Construction Co. in the amount of fi13,018.40 be
15 accepted and that the contract for the construction work be
16 awarded to said bidder.
17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
18 are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
19 accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
20 of the City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed
21 to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
