A RISC UTION OF THE CITE' OOUNCIL OF ME CITY
2 Or N EWPO �< DdACK ACCEPTING A qUITCLAIE DEAD
3 MEREAS, there has been executed and delivered to the
4 City of Newport Beach a quitclaim deed dated April 11, 1966, from
5 William J. Cagney, quitclaiming to the City certain real property
6 in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of Cali-
7 fornia, described as;
8 That portion of Section 28, Township 6 South, mange 10 West
of the San Bernardino Keridian, as per the Official Mat of
9 said land filed in the District land Office, August 4, 1890,
described as follows:

Beginning at the intersection of the westerly like of the
11
100 foot strip of land described in the deed from A. J.
Crookshank and others, as Trustees, to Southern Pacific
12
Railroad Company, recorded October 14, 1921, in Book. 405,
Page 250 of Deeds, with the easterly prolongation of the
13
northerly line of Lot 6 in Block 432, as shown on a map of
4Canal Section, Newport Beach ", recorded in Book 4, rage 98
14
of Hiscellaneous Paps, in the.office of the County RRecorder
of said County, said easterly prolongation also being the
15
southerly line of the land described in that certain Indenture
dated April 17, 1941, between Southern Pacific Railroad
16
Company and Southern Pacific Company and Sam Qnsfather and
Dorothea A. Ninsfather, recorded July 30, 1941, in Book 1099,
17
Page 563 of official Eecords; thence Easterly 70.00 feet
along the said southerly line of the land described in said
18
Indenture dated April 17, 1941, to the westerly line of the
land described as Parcel No. 1 in that certain Indenture
19
dated Teagr 31, 1935, between Southern Pacific Railroad Compab.y
and Southern Pacific Company and City of Newport Beach,
20
recorded November 20, 1935, in Book 792, ?age 25 of Official
Records; thence Southerly 30.00 feet more or less along
21
said last mentioned westerly line on a curve Concave to the
east having a radius of 2844.83 -beet to the northerly line
22
of the land described in the deed to Oscar X. Stanley,
recorded December 31, 1963, in Bootie 6865, Page 348 of
23
Official Records; thence westerly 70.00 feet along last
said northerly line to the westerly line of the 100 foot
24
strip of land described in the said deed from A. S. Crook-
shank and others; thence northerly 30.00 beet more or
25
less along last said westerly line to the point of beginning;
26
and
27
Iur ^' S, it is to the interest of the City to accept
28
said quitclaim deed;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED SOLVED by the City Council of

the City of Newport Beach that said quitclaim deed be accepted
31
and the City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute and attach
32
a certificate of acceptance and consent to the recording of said
1 quitclaim deed in the County Recorder's office.
2 ADOPTED this 25th day of April 1966.

Resolution No. 6341 was duly and regularly
adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council held at the
regular meeting place thereof, on the 25th day of April ,
