2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
3 COVENANTS, CONDITIONS,.AND RESTRICTIONS BEING
IMPOSED UPON TRACT NO. 6227

5 AREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
6 the City of Newport Beach by The Irvine Company, a West Virginia
7 corporation, as owner, and The Bluffs, a limited partnership, as
8 its lessee and subdivider of Tract No. 6227, a document entitled
9 "Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions Tract No.
10 622744, whereby covenants, conditions and restrictions are imposed
11 upon said tract; and
12 WHEREAS, The Irvine Company is the owner and The Bluffs
13 is the lessee of all lots in said tract and propose to impose said
14 Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions upon said
15 tract for the benefit of all of the lots therein and for the
16 benefit of the adjoining land owned by the City; and
17 WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said document and
18 determined that it adequately provides for the permanent upkeep,
19 maintenance, and payment of taxes on the common area lots within
20 said tract, as required by Section 9256.13 of the Newport Beach
21 Municipal Code;
22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
23 Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
24 same on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
