1 RESOLUTION NO. 6351
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NWPORT BEACH ESTABLISHING BOARDING CHARGES FOR
3 IMPOUNDED FOWL AND ANIMALS

5 WHEREAS, Section 4115 of the Newport Beach Municipal
6 Code provides that daily charges shall be made for boarding any
7 bird, fowl, dog, cat or other animal impounded under the provisions
8 of the Code and that such charge shall be established by the City
9 Council by resolution;
10 NON7, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following daily
11 charges be established as boarding charges for impounded birds,
12 fowl, dogs, cats and other animals:
13 (1) For any dog or cat,'One Dollar and Fifty Cents
14
(2) For any other animal weighing less than 100 lbs.,
15 Two Dollars ($2.00).
16 (3) For any dog or other animal weighing more than 100
17 lbs., Four Dollars ($4.00).
18 (4) For any fowl or bird, Fifty Cents ($.50).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 5384 is

20 hereby repealed.
