1 RESOLUTION NO. 6356
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NWOPORT BEACH PROHIBITING PARKING ON.CERTAIN
3 STREETS .

5 T=-REAS, Section 3292.1 of the Newport Beach Municipal
6 Code provides that the City Council shall by resolution designate
71 streets or portions of streets on which the parking or standing
8 of vehicles is to be prohibited, and shall designate in the
9 resolution the days of the week and the exact hours during which
10 such prohibition shall be in effect; and
11 WHEREAS, it is necessary to prohibit parking as herein -
12 after provided;
13 NOW; THEREFOR33 BE, IT RESOLVED that parking shall be
14 prohibited between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on the
15 first Saturday following May 15 and on each Saturday, Sunday and
16 holiday thereafter to the day following Labor Day of each year on
17 the following streets or portions of streets:
18 1. The southwesterly side of Seaview Avenue from
Carnation Avenue to Poppy Avenue.

2. The southwesterly side of Bayview Drive from
20 Fernleaf Avenue to Iris Avenue.
21 3. The northwesterly side of Carnation Avenue
from Ocean Boulevard to Seaview Avenue.

4. The northwesterly side of Dahlia Avenue from
23 Ocean Boulevard to Seaview.Avenue.
24 5. The northwesterly side of Fernleaf Avenue from
Ocean Boulevard to Seaview Avenue.

6. The northwesterly side of Goldenrod Avenue from
26 Ocean Boulevard to Seaview Avenue.
27 7. The northwesterly side of Heliotrope Avenue
from Ocean Boulevard to Seaview Avenue.

8. The northwesterly side of Iris Avenue from
29 Ocean Boulevard to Seaview Avenue.
• 30 9. The northwesterly side of Jasmine Avenue from
Ocean Boulevard to Seaview Avenue.

10. The northwesterly side of Larkspur Avenue from
32 Ocean Boulevard to Seaview-Avenue.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Resolution No. 5975 is
hereby repealed.
ADOPTED this 9th day of May, 1966.

Resolution No.
6356 was duly and regularly
adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City. Council held at the
regular meeting place thereof, on the 9th day of May ,
1966 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Paisons, Marshall, Gruber, Cook, Forgit,
Shelton
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: Rogers
