5 WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
6 the City of Newport Beach a proposed agreement between The Irvine
7 Company, the City of Newport Beach, and the Orange County Flood
8 Control District providing for the removal of Harbor Dam and
9 appurtenant works which are operated and maintained by the Distract
10 and the subsequent construction and operation by The Irvine Company
11 and the City of adequate drainage and flood control facilities for
12 the protection of property now dependent on Harbor Dam and appurm
13 tenances; and
14 WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the terms and
15 conditions of the agreement and found them to be fair and equitable,
16 WW3, THEREFORE,, BE IT RESOLVED that said agreement is
17 approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed
18 to execute the same on behalf of the City of Newport Beach,
19 ADOPTED this 23d day of May , 1966.

adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council held at the
regular meeting place thereof, on the 23d day of May
