5 1M- 111..AS, the Chief Engineer of the Orange County Flood
6 Control District hEs prepared an Engineers Report for the con-
7 struction of 80 flood control and water conservation projects
8 throughout Crange County, with an estimated cost of p46,400,000;
9 and
10 I.IPMEAS, the Orange County Board of Supervisors acting
11 as Board of Directors of the flood control district, has adopted
12 said report and caused it to be placed on the Tune 7, 1966 primary
13 election for the issuance of $46,400,000 in bonds; and
14 !,71 MS, the previous flood control district bond issue
15 authorized in Tune, 1956 in the amount of $42,620,000 has played a
16 vital role in the explosive growth and expansion of Orange County;
17 and
181 IMMIMS, it is anticipated that the new proposed bond
191 issue will have as similar effect in the future and will be
20 necessary for the continued growth and development in the count -y;
