1 RESOLUTION NO. 6382
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ADOPTING AND SUBMITTING A BUDGET
3 FOR EXPENDITURE OF STATE ALLOCATED (ENGINEERING)
FUNDS

5 WHEREAS, a Master Agreement for the Budgeting and Expend -
6 iture of the Engineering Allocation under Section 2107.5 of the
7 Streets and Highways Code has been entered into by the City of
8 Newport Beach, hereinafter referred to as the city, and the State
9 Department of Public Works, Division of Highways, hereinafter
10 referred to as the department; and,
11 WHEREAS, the city council has prepared a budget proposal
12 showing estimated expenditures of such funds recommended to be
13 made during the 1966 -1967 fiscal year; and,
14 WHEREAS, the city council has heard read said budget pro -
15 posal and is familiar with the contents thereof;
16 THEREFORE, be it resolved by the city council of the
17 City of Newport Beach that said budget proposal dated May 20, 1966
18 be and is hereby adopted as the budget of proposed expenditures of
19 the State allocated funds for engineering to cities, said budget
20 proposal to be and the same is hereby approved and the Public Works
21 Director is directed to sign the same on behalf of said City, and
22 said budget proposal to be submitted to the Department of Public
23 Works, State of California, in accordance with the provisions of
24 Section 197 of the Streets and Highways Code.
