RESOLUTION NO. 6384
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA, CORRECTING AND
MODIFYING THE ASSESSMENT AND DIAGRAM MADE AND
FILED BY THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS OF SAID
CITY ON THE 18th DAY OF MAY, 1966, TO COVER THE
SUMS DUE FOR TYTE WORK AND IMPROVEMENT CONSIST-
ING OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF STREET LIGHTING IM-
PROVEMENTS AND APPURTENANCES AND APPURTENANT
WORK IN "ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 49, 11 AS CONTEM-
PLATED BY RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 6213 OF SAID
CITY; AND ORDERING AND DIRECTING THE SUPERINTENDENT
OF STREETS TO AMEND AND MODIFY THE SAID ASSESSMENT
AND DIAGRAM ON THE FACE THEREOF IN ACCORDANCE
HEREWITH.
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets of the City of Newport
California, did on the 18th day of May, 1966, file with the City Clerk of said
City his assessment and diagram to cover the sums due for the work of con-
struction of street lighting improvements and appurtenances and appurtenant
work in "ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 49" in said City, as said work is des-
cribed in Resolution of Intention No. 6213; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of this City gave notice in writing of the
filing of said assessment and that Monday, the 27th day of June, 1966, all
persons interested in the work done or in the assessment would be heard by
the City Council of this City; and
WHEREAS, this City Council now has said assessment and diagram
under consideration;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEW-
PORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA, does hereby determine, order and resolve as
follows:
Section 1. That the said assessment and diagram be and the same
hereby is corrected and modified in each and all of the particulars as set forth
in the 11Schedule of Modifications" attached hereto, marked Exhibit CIA" and
made a part hereof for all purposes.
Section 2: That the Superintendent of Streets of the City of Newport
Beach be and he hereby is ordered, instructed and directed to correct and
modify the assessment and diagram in the particulars hereinabove set forth in
Section 1 hereof on the assessment and diagram and thereafter return the said

I assessment and diagram as so corrected and modified to this City Council.
2 Section 3: That where corrections and modifications hereinabove
3 ordered have been made in the amount of the assessment on any particular
4 parcel of land to be assessed, this City Council does hereby find and determine
5 that the amounts so fixed herein as the amount of assessment is the proportion-
6 ate benefit received by the said lot of land as to which said assessment is
7 affixed.
8 Section 4: The City Clerk shall certify to this resolution and a certi-
9 fied copy thereof shall be attached to the assessment.

11 1966.
