RESOLUTION NO. 6406.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH APPROVING A NOTICE TO VACATE ADDITION �
OF TERRITORY AS TO TRACT NO. 5877 AND AUTHORIZING
ImEREAS, The Irvine Company, a west Virginia corporation,
11 and The Bluffs, a limited partnership, are the only parties having
any record title interest in Lots 1 through 96, inclusive, of
Tract No. 5877, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 218 at
11pages 10, 110 12, and 13, on July 9, 1965, Miscellaneous Naps,
Records of Orange County, California; and
1,1HEREAS, a Notice of Addition of Territory for Tract No.
115877 was recorded on May 11, 1966, in Book 7928, page 173, of
Official Records of Orange County, California; and
TIHEREAS, The Irvine Company and The Bluffs have requested
that the City Council approve the vacation of said Notice of Addi-
tion of Territory and have presented to the Council for its approval
a document dated September 23 ,
Addition of Territory "; and

WHEREAS, the City Council has considered this request and
11has determined that said Notice to Vacate Addition of Territory
should be approved;
NO'E7, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Notice to Vacate
Il Addition of Territory is approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are
authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of the City.
