RESOLUTION NO. 6443
3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE CORONA
4 DEL MAR STREET PROJECTS (CONTRACT NO. 1042)
5 WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
6 consisting of the Corona del Mar street projects in the City of
7 Newport Beach, in accordance with the plans and specifications
8 heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 30th day of August,
9 1966, and publicly opened and declared; and
10 WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
11 therefor is R. E7. McClellan and Sons;
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of R. W.
13 McClellan and Sons in the amount of $51,889.70 be accepted and
14 that the contract for the construction work be awarded to said
1511 bidder.
16 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
17 are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accord -
18 ance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the
19 City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to
20 furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
21 ADOPTED this 12th day of September, 1966.

Resolution No. 6443 was duly and regularly adopted,
passed, and approved by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council held at the
regular meeting place thereof, on the 12th day of September ,
1966, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Rogers, Parsons, Marshall, Gruber, Cook, Shelton
