RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF T14E CITY
OF VE?:"PORT BEACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF
AT NDMF,NT N0. 2 TO SUBDIVISION. AGREEPEENT IN
CONN;CTION WITH TRACT. NO. 4003
diNEREAS, the City of Newport Beach and Linda Isle
Development Co., as subdivider, are parties to an agreement dated
August 13, 1962, under which the subdivider agreed to install
subdivision improvements in Tract No. 4003 by August 23, 1964,
which completion date was extended to September 23, 1966, by an
amendment to said agreement executed on September 23, 1963; and
WHEREAS, The Irvine Company, as successor in interest
to Linda Isle Development Co., has requested that the City Council
further modify the original agreement to provide that the time for
completion of the subdivision improvements be extended to September
23, 1967; and
[,WREAS, the City Council has considered the request
for an extension of time and has determined that the granting of
said request would be compatible with the public interest; and
U7HEREAS, an agreement entitled "Amendment No. 2 to
Subdivision Agreement99 granting the requested extension of time has
been reviewed by the City Council and has been found to be
acceptable;
NOWT, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement
on behalf of the City of Newport Beach.
