2 A RESOLUTION OF TIE CITY COUNCIL OF TIC CITY OF
NXUPORT 132ACH AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
3 AGREEMENT ?TITH TI-M COUNTY OF ORANGE, FOR THE
IMPROWMENT . OF I AC ARTHUR BOULEVARD AT CAMPUS
. 4 DRIVE
5 WHEREAS, the County of Orange is proposing to construct
6 roadway improvements on MacArthur Boulevard between Campus Drive
7 and the San Diego Freeway, portions of which are in the City of
8 Newport Beach; and
9 TJI• F S, there has been presented to the City Council
10 of the City of Newport Beach an agreement between the City and
11
the
County of Orange providing for the construction of such
road -
12
way
improvements, with the cost thereof to be shared by the
City
13
and
the County in the manner set out therein; and
14 EREAS, the City Council has considered the terms and
15 conditions of said agreement and found them to be fair and to the
16 mutual advantage or the parties;
17 NOW2 TI•f3aEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said agreement is
18 approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
19 directed to execute the same on behalf of the City of Newport
20 Beach.
