�.Rv.AS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids `or work
consisting of the storm drain construction of 1965 -57 in the City
of Newport Beach, in accordance with the plans and specifications
heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 20th day of September
1966, and publicly opened and declared; and
GkIEIa:A s, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is X. O. Casada, d /b /a Dale Casada Construction Co.;
NOW2 T'_;. `^h^Oi�.'., BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of Mr. D.
Casada, d /b /a Dale Casada Construction Co., in the amount of
$417,675.20 be accepted and that the contract for the construction
work be awarded to said bidder.
BE IT 8URMEM RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Cleric
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in
accordance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf
of the City of Newport ;each, and that the City Clerk be directed
to furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
ADOPTED this 26th day of September , 1966.
