2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH LIMITING THE PARKING OF VEHICLES
3 ON DANA ROAD AND FLAGSHIP ROAD

5 GIHEREAS, Section 12.44.010 of the Newport Beach Municipal
6 Code provides that when authorized signs are in place giving notice
7 thereof no person shall stop, stand, or park any vehicle between
8 the hours of eight a.m. and six p.m. of any day for periods of
9 time longer than one or two hours upon such streets or portions
10 thereof as the City Council shall designate by resolution, and
11 when special parking or traffic conditions require different hours
12 or days of parking restrictions the City Council may by resolution
13 vary the hours and days during which the foregoing restrictions
14 shall be in effect; and
15 VmEREAS, it is necessary to limit the parking of vehicles
16 as hereinafter provided;
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the parking of
18 vehicles between the hours of eight a.m. and six p.m. be limited to
19 three (3) hours every day except Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays on
20 the following portions of streets:
21 1. The southerly side of Dana Road from Superior
Avenue to Flagship Road.

2. Both sides of Flagship Road from Dana Road to
23 Hilaria Way.
24 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is authorized
25 and directed to cause signs to be posted on said portions of streets
26 giving notice of such parking restriction.
27 ADOPTED this 14:Lb day of November, 1966.

passed, and approved by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council held at the
regular meting place thereof, on the 14th day of November
1966, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Rogers, Parsons, Marshall, Gruber, Cook, Forgit,
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
