2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE.IMPROVE-
3 MENT OF BAYSIDE DRIVE FROM PACIFIC -COAST HIG1iv7AY
TO ALOHA. DRIVE (CONTRACT NO. 1064)
5 WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
6 consisting of the improvement of Bayside Drive from Pacific Coast
7 Highway to Aloha Drive in the City of Newport Beach, in accordance
8 with the plans and specifications heretofore adopted, bids were
9 received on the 19th day of December, 1966, and publicly opened
10 and declared; and
11 WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
12 therefor is E. L. White Company;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of E. L.

White Company, in
the
amount- of $41,089.09, be accepted and that

the contract for
the
construction work be awarded to said bidder.
16 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
17 are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accord -
18 ance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the
19 City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to
20 furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
21 ADOPTED this 27th day of December 196 6 .

Beach, California, do hereby certify that according to the records of the
City of Newport Beach filed and maintained in my office, the foregoing
Resolution No. 6490 was duly and regularly adopted,
passed, and approved by the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council held at the
regular meeting place thereof, on the 27th day of December ,
1966, by the following vote, to wit:
