21 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.. 6171 TO
3 1 INCREASE. THE PARKING FEES TO BE CHARGED FOB
VEHICLES OTHER THAN BUSES ON WEEKDAYS FROM

61 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 6171 establishes fees for the
7 parking of vehicles at the Corona del Mar State and City Beach
8 Park; and
91 1,7HEREAS, the City Council upon recommendation of the
10 City Manager wishes to increase the fee to be charged on weekdays
11 for vehicles other than buses from $.75 to $1.00;
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that paragraph 2 of
13I Resolution No. 6171 is hereby amended to read as follows:
141 792. For the use of parking facilities at the
I Corona del_Mar State and City Beach Park, daily
15 parking fees at the rate of $1.00 on weekdays and
$1.50 on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, for
16 vehicles other than buses, are hereby established.
The fee for buses shall be $3.00 per day. The
17 days and hours each day that such parking facili-
ties are to be in operation and the days and hours
18 each day that such fees as herein designated are
to be charged shall be established by the City Mana-
ger in such a manner as will best serve the public
use of said park and parking facilities and which
20' will best serve to avoid traffic congestion and the
hazards attendant therein. The City Manager shall
211 prepare a schedule of such days and hours, which
said schedule and any revisions thereof shall be
22 filed with the City Clerk.7°
