RESOLUTION N0, 6716
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH DESIGNATING INTERSECTIONS AT WHICH
VEHICLES ARE REQUIRED TO STOP
WHEREAS, Section 12.36.010 of the Newport Beach Municipal
0 Code provides that whenever an ordinance or resolution designates
and describes an intersection at which vehicles are required to
stop at one or more entrances thereto, the City Traffic Engineer
shall erect stop signs at those entrances of such intersection
where a stop is required and every driver of a vehicle shall stop
at such intersection-, and
WHEREAS, certain intersections should be designated as
intersections where vehicles are required to stop at one or more
entrances thereto as hereinafter provided;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the following described intersec-
tions are hereby designated as intersections where vehicles are
required to stop at one or more entrances thereto.
la The intersection of Westminster Avenue at North
Newport Boulevard, at each entrance to North Newport
Boulevard,
20 The intersection of Beacon Street and the channelized
lane westerly of Westminster Avenue opposite Beacon
Street at Westminster Avenue, at each entrance to
Westminster Avenue.
