2 A RESOLUTICN OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT B:3ACH ACCEPTING A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT

4 WHEREAS, The Irvine Company, a West Virginia torpor-
. 5 ation, has executed and delivered to the City of Newport Beach
6I a Public Utility Easement, which grants to the City a non -
71 exclusive easement for public utility purposes in, under, over
8 and along real property situated in the City of Newport Beach,
9 County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
10 Those certain strips of land of various widths in
Block 94 of Irvine s Subdivision as per map filed
111 in Book 1, page 88 of Miscellaneous Record Maps in
the.office of the County Recorder of said Orange
12I County delineated as Proposed Easements 49A", ` °BB',
7ICIT, D", and "E" for public utility purposes within
13 Earcel.4 of that.certain land shown on the map filed
in Book 11, page 7 of Parcel Maps in the office of
14 said County Recorder.
15 SUBJECT TO easements and rights of way of record or
apparent.

RESERVING UNTO GRANTOR, its successors and assigns, the
17 right to use.said land for any purpose whatsoever as
shall not interfere with or endanger the use by
18I Grantee of the easement, including but not limited to
the right to construct, relocate, repair, maintain
19 and use paved parking areas, alleys and pipelines
20 in, on, over, across, under and along said land;
and

22 AREAS, it is to the interest of the City to accept
23i said Public Utility Easement;
I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Public Utility
24
Easement is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is authorized and
25
directed to execute and attach thereto a certificate of acceptance
26
27 and consent to its recording and to record said document in the
28 County Recorder's office.
ADOPTED this 11th day of March , 1968.

City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council
