RESOLUTION N0, 6729
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH ACCEPTING AN OFFER TO DEDICATE
SHERINGTON PLACE AND SEA GULL LANE IN TRACT
NO. 4225
WHEREAS, on November 13, 19619 the City Council approved
a final subdivision tract map for Tract No. 42259 and
WHEREAS, at the time Tract No. 4225 was approved the City
Council rejected an offer to dedicate as public streets those
certain street rights of way within said tract designated as Sher-
ington Place and Sea Gull Lane; and
WHEREAS, Sherington Place and Sea Gull Lane were subse-
quently improved to City street standards and the City Council now
desires to rescind its prior rejection of the offer to dedicate
said streets and to accept and open them for public use pursuant
to the authority granted by Section 11616 of the Business and Pro-
fessions Code of the State of California;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED'.
to The prior action of the City Council rejecting the
offer to dedicate Sherington Place and Sea Gull Lane as public
streets is hereby rescinded.
2. Sherington Place and Sea Gull Lane, as shown on
the map of Tract No. 4225 recorded in Book 153, page 23, Miscel-
laneous Maps of Orange County, California, are hereby accepted by
the City of Newport Beach as public streets.
3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a certim
fied copy of this resolution to be recorded in the office of the
County Recorder of Orange County, California.

do hereby certify that according to the records of the City of Newport Beach
filed and maintained in my office, the foregoing Resolution No. 6729 was
duly and regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council
held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the 25th day of March 1968,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: Rogers, Parsons, Marshall, Gruber, Cook,
Foreit. Shelton
NOES, COUNCILMEN:
