RESOLUTION NO. 6751
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AUTHORIZING AN ALLOWANCE OF ONE
HUNDRED DOLLARS PER MONTH TO THE MAYOR IN
ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 404 OF THE CHARTER
WHEREAS, Section 404 of the Charter provides that the
City Council may provide by resolution for the payment to the
Mayor of an allowance not exceeding $100 per month in addition
to the payment authorized for expenses in Section 402 to reim-
burse him for the additional demands made upon him and expenses
incurred by him in serving as Mayor-, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of allowing such
payment to the Mayor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the Mayor of said City be allowed
said-sum of $100 per month during his term as Mayor to reimburse
him for the additional demands made upon him and expenses in-
curred by him in serving as Mayoro
ADOPTED this 16th day of April, 1968.

do hereby certify that according to the records of the City of Newport Beach
filed and maintained in my office, the foregoing Resolution No. 6751 was
duly and regularly adopted, passed, and approved by the City Council of the
City of Newport Beach, California, at a regular meeting of said City Council
held at the regular meeting place thereof, on the 16th day of April , 1968,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES, COUNCILMEN: McInnis, Shelton, Parsons, Marshall, Hirth,
Rogers, Gruber
NOES, COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT, COUNCILMEN: None
