RESOLUTION N0. 6772
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEWPORT BEACH AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR.THE -CON --
STRUCTION OF.MARINERS PARK TENNIS COURTS (CON-
TRACT. NO.. ].147)
WHEREAS, pursuant to the notice inviting bids for work
consisting'of the construction of Mariners Park 'tennis courts in
the City of Newport Beach, in accordance with the plans and speci-
fications heretofore adopted, bids were received on the 6th day of
May, 1968, and publicly opened and declared; and
WHEREAS, it appears that the lowest responsible bidder
therefor is 0. K. Coyle;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the bid of 0. K.
Coyle in the amount of $30,027.00'for the base bid plus additive
bid item no. 8 be accepted and that the contract for the construc-
tion work be awarded to said bidder.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract in accord-
ance with the specifications, bid and this award on behalf of the
City of Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk be directed to
furnish an executed copy to the successful bidder.
